If you're anything like me, you HATE washing + blowdrying your hair. That's probably why you're reading this. Good. I love to share a lot of things, but THIS, it's life changing. I've tried a few dry shampoo's over the years, but LIVING PROOF Dry Shampoo is my absolute FAVE. I've tried plenty and at every price point. Like Goldie Locks once said, this one is just right!
It's unlike any of the others I've tried. It seriously absorbs and removes oil, sweat and odor. Which is so necessary. I try to workout *everyday*, key word here is TRY, and this product allows me to do so, while saving my hair from the stress of washing it daily. Nobody has time for that, and your hair will eventually hate you.
Works on all hair colors, because it leaves virtually no visible residue or powdery build-up behind. I hated that with most other brands I tried. Oh, the smell, right? Nope, none. It's a light, clean scent that last throughout the day. Which is something I took into strong consideration, seeing as I'd be smelling it all day.
The feel, that's another thing. It actually feels CLEAN, not chalky and sticky. You know what I'm talking about. Other brands left behind a residue that made me want to wash my hair, and that's the whole point. NOT TO WASH YOUR HAIR. Here's another great little trick, I even use it when my hair is freshly washed and dried. It adds volume and the lift I'm looking for. Bottom line. I LOVE it and love that I only wash my hair about twice a week. No lie. So, if you happen to see me around Nashville, my hair will appear clean, but it's actually dirty. Ha!
Here are a couple things to keep in mind when using it. SHAKE WELL. Hold the bottle about 6 to 10 inches away from DRY hair, then I section off my hair. Then section by section spray onto scalp hitting all the oily areas. Wait about 30 seconds for the powder to activate and clean, then remove powdery residue by using your finger tips and massaging product into your hair. Apply more if needed (just make sure to shake the can again). I use about 6 sprays each time I 'wash' my hair.
Tip: If you see a little white residue? Not to worry. That's the cleaning power in action as the oil and sweat are absorbed. Just wait 30 seconds, then you can brush gently to remove any leftovers.
Give it a try, I'd really love to hear what you think. This little grey $22 bottle of magic was a GAME CHANGER for me. Hope you feel the same!
