Today, I am so excited to share with you my Christmas tablescape. You guys know I LOVE to decorate a table, but you also know that I love to keep it simple and relatively easy on myself.  That is why you will rarely see me doing elaborate floral arrangements or anything too over the top on my table. I want to make it something that I can do quickly, but still makes a really big impact.  And I want you guys to be able to emulate it in your own homes!

This year I was really inspired to bring nature indoors.  I wanted my primary color palette to be white and green, with some gray, silver and gold thrown in as accent colors (of course). I absolutely love the smell of fresh greenery, so I always try and incorporate that into my table as well as throughout the rest of my house.

This year I chose three gorgeous wreaths to serve as the centerpiece of my table. I set the middle wreath on a white cake stand just to elevate it and create a little depth and dimension to the table. I then sprinkled them with a little bit of faux snow, so it truly looked like the outdoors had been brought in to my table.

I found these cute little lanterns at Target that have little perforated snowflakes on them. Right now I just have little battery powered lights in them, but I will probably switch them out to real candles for Christmas dinner. I love using the battery powered lights because it is so much easier and less messy to deal with.

For the place settings, I kept the same faux wood chargers that I used for my Thanksgiving table.  I then added little wreaths that I made out of wired boxwood, tied with white velvet ribbon. I actually found my wired boxwood in the dollar bin at Target, but I know I have seen it at Michaels as well. If you recall from my Thanksgiving table, I love using gift tags for my place settings.  Lord knows I do not have the time or the skill to be hand lettering all of these place cards, so HomeGoods to the rescue!

I really wanted the wood of my table to be exposed and so I used this really pretty faux fur runner down the middle of the table.  I sprinkled white and silver ornaments down the table and then topped it off with a little more faux snow.  I also added a little shimmer and pop of gold with the coasters that I used under my wine glass.

This whole table took me less than 30 minutes to do and it looks like a million bucks…if I do say so myself.  Do not be intimidated by the thought that you have to be some sort of professional florist to create a beautiful table in your home.  I like getting my table done at least a week in advance of Christmas, if not more, so I have plenty of time to enjoy the fruits of my labor.  So girls…what are you waiting for!!!
