YOU GUYS! I hope that my enthusiasm doesn’t come across as disingenuous, because I promise, all my excitement for this bag is so damn real! I have loved every minute of this journey with my dear friend Anne Gill and I am so excited to be sharing it with you….

First, let me tell you about how Anne and I met and how she started her incredible business.

When we moved to Nashville and enrolled Lily and Luke into school, we were told there was another professional athlete parent, a hockey player. Well we ended up running into each other at a restaurant when we were both on a date night. Anne was in all dark colors and had dark makeup on and I thought she was so fancy that she wouldn’t be friends with me! Later, Anne told me she had seen be a few week easier at the store. She saw me as this blond at the salad bar on her phone in a tennis outfit and thought I was “too pretty to be nice”. HA! Well we hit it off that night at the restaurant and now we are besties!

What is even greater is that our husbands hit it off! Having your husbands become best friends makes everything so much easier. Our families go on vacations together and frequently get together here in Nashville.

Now I want to tell you about Anne’s journey. Anne started seven years ago while living in Montreal. Anne had an AHA! moment while coming out of a yoga class carrying 5 bags that all had their own function. She knew there had to be a better way to carry all of the things you need without looking like a pack mule. Anne talked to other women about their handbag issues. We want to do it all and you can do it all, and look good while doing it. Anne wanted to create a bag that has luxury elements that are hardwired for real life. Going to a meeting or to the gym or to carry the kids things, we need something easy that feels and looks good. And of course Anne did just that. Her bags are made in America and sewn by hand using the best materials. A Haist bag isn’t just going to last you a season, it is going to last you years. Her bags are classic and beautiful. Anne was determined to make this dream a reality because women needed it! Anne has put her heart and soul into this company and being able to work together on this amazing bag has been such an incredible experience. Anne and I are both just wives and mothers who want to help other women out. Being able to support the women you love only makes the world a better place. I can’t wait for each of you get this bag and feel the love and care that was put into it. I also can’t wait for you to feel the leather because I STILL haven’t stopped touching it.

I am so excited for you guys to be able to have a piece of both Anne and myself. We designed this bag as a summer tote bag. We didn’t want to add too many frills and features because who has time for that when you are rushing to pack a bag for the pool or to take to your kids sports games or even just going out to eat. It is simple, but beautifully designed and crafted. I promise you will love it as much as I do!
