What is better than a day with some downtime (Ha! Who’s doing this…show mw your ways), add some Oreos crushed in milk, and Steel Magnolias? The answer is not a thing and wish I made time for a little day time veg. But some days you just gotta kick your feet up and binge your favorite movie or TV show, and man do I have a lot that are my go-to. What about you? What’s your all- time FAVORITE show or movie?

MOVIES

I grew up watching a ton of those epic “southern” movies, like the small town, Hope Floats, and the girl falling for her high school love she hasn’t talked to in years. LOVE THIS.. Some people love a good Hallmark Christmas movie, but give me a good small town southern flick and good love story, and I am a puddle of laughter and tears.

There are SO many good series right now, like I can’t keep up, but man am I thankful for Hulu, Amazon Prime, and Netflix. Binging is my favorite thing, and their are too many good ones to choose from.

Growing up, I was a latch key kid, meaning my mom worked and I’d come home after school alone and grab my self a snack and sneak in a a show or two before knocking out my homework. One of my faves,“Three’s Company” and I’m pretty sure so much of it went right over my head. I mean, Jack Tripper. When I look at this list, I have to laugh, what 10 yr old loved Designing Women and The Golden Girls. Ha! How many of these bring back some memories…

Like I said, I LOVE a good movie or series. It’s something that Steve and I look forward to nightly. It’s always, like “ Babe, we got a show to watch” So it’s race to get the dishes down, kids in bed and may face washed.
