This year, I decided to keep things a little simple for Thanksgiving,  I figured things might look a little bit different for all of us this year, whether we’re not able to see family or have the opportunity to travel. I got this idea randomly one day, because I think I was itching to get a little crafty. If you followed along on my stories a few days ago you saw that I busted out the paint brushes (don’t worry, you can rewatch it all here.) Well I am so glad I can finally show you how beautiful my little at home project turned out. And don’t worry, you can DIY this yourself for a heck of a price- Seriously, even your in-laws will be impressed.

The first thing I did was purchase plastic chargers and then I decided to go to Benjamin Moore and get paint, the color I got was chocolate mousse. I grabbed some baking soda, a few paint brushes and I was well on my way to the perfect place setting. When you mix baking soda and paint you come out with a creamy clay like texture. It was a DREAM – don’t worry, I have linked everything you need to recreate this beauty.
