I was walking in Michael’s the other day and I saw these nutcrackers. I wasn’t loving their original look and decided to take my own advice- if you don’t like it, spray paint it. And that is what I did! I knew I wanted to give each nutcracker their own look, so for the smaller nutcracker, I just spray painted it white. I used a matte white so it wasn’t as shiny in the end. For the larger nutcracker, I mixed baking soda with Chocolate Moose by Benjamin Moore to give the paint that clay affect. I love a neutral look, but you can paint them any color you want. This is a perfect way to personalize your holiday decor! What are your favorite holiday DIY crafts? I would love to hear about them!
