Caroline Lunny is a Massachusetts native and Realtor. You ladies might know her from Season 22 of The Bachelor and she also went on to be on Bachelor in Paradise. Caroline is also a former Miss Massachusetts and an advocate for living a positive life and body positivity – it’s one of my favorite things about her.

Tell us a little bit about yourself, how has life been for you during quarantine?

I’ve been staying with my mom and she’s a coronavirus master, I actually just drove from Boston to Charlotte for John, my boyfriends birthday. So we are having a stay cation at a hotel and it’s been great!

I’m sure you’ve gotten a million questions about this – but you actually had Coronavirus, what was that like?

The things was, is that I actually have asthma and I’ve always dealt with respiratory issues my whole life. When I got it, it actually wasn’t as scary. I’m pretty sure I got it on a flight traveling from Charlotte to Boston. I had the chills and a sore throat and I got a little scared once that started happening, but I didn’t think much of it. So I went and took the test at a drive through, which was not a fun feeling. The symptoms – it was very flu like for the first 10 days and a high fever, it was more of a dry cough instead of a wet cough. It definitely made me anxious – I was in quarantine for 4 1/2 weeks. It’s funny because I expected a parade when I came out of quarantine and it really was just back to normal life hahahaha

The social isolation is the worst part, it made me sad to see all your stories and wanting to do the Landyn 30 Day Challenge everyday.

So how did you start following me?

Okay, so I’m like your biggest fan. My friend Bridget sent me your page because she was like this is YOU. I loved every second that I watched and I inspires to be you, I love it! I love following you because you’re so authentic and you actually share what is real.

You’re a realtor – all the homes you share are beautiful. Do you stage homes as well? What would you recommend people look for when buying their first home?

My mom has been a broker for forever, so you could say I born into it. With the climate now, its really changed on how people are seeing homes. You know, everyone has to wear masks and sign waivers before we see For example, yesterday we had a good showing of 15 people – it’s super nice to weed out the people who are not serious about buying a house.

How’s it been during quarantine?

I feel like in the states we’re always go go go and I admire that but I think there’s something so beautiful about slowing down and taking time for yourself. For example, our whole neighborhood is filled with people walking all the time, people who didn’t used to do that again. It sucks that it’s lasting so long but I feel like people can really appreciate it and rewiring our habits – it’s amazing. I struggle with depression + anxiety and I use the Better Health app and I love it.

I love you body positivity and you radiate self – love, tell us about it! We can all take notes from you.

It’s been a long bump road to here, I grew up doing a lot of modeling and parents, which in a way created a lot of my worth. I felt like a lot of my value and worth was from my weight and my size. I struggled with anorexia and bulimia, and I feel like people didn’t really know that was something that I struggled with it. It was a really hard and after I did the bachelor, people were being awful to me about my weight. I had also dated someone who body shamed me and it was a struggle. It’s a journey everyday to love myself. John is the best in helping me and always making me feel so beautiful. With my platform, I want to help women feel empowered in their own bodies.

I want to be the CEO of my own family.

I actually did Modern Fertility and it’s a test that helps you see what where you are in a fertility process and we are actually going to freeze my eggs. It’s going to be a hell of a journey and I hope that we can make it happen for us one day.

Speaking of The Bachelor? How did you get casted?

It’s cool and the best part was that I made so many amazing friends from it. Totally glad I did it and I loved every second and I definitely made some bridesmaids from the show haha. So one of my girlfriends submitted me for the show and it takes like 6 months start to finish for the whole process. You have to take all of these crazy tests where you’re locked in a room for 4 hours, it was insane. On my season there were 28 casted. When we filmed Paradise we were in Mexico, and I truly never hated anything more in my life. It’s like 1,00000000 degrees and there’s no fans, no ac, no windows + all the bugs.

OKAY – What is your most favorite meal to cook at home right now or your favorite place to snag take out?

We’ll at my moms house, we’ve been doing a lot of bolognese with with the chickpea pasta, it’s so so good. I love getting creative with a cheat meal and trying to make it a tad healthier. I love cold food and people think I’m nuts.
