Hey mama’s!  I am here today to sing the praises of my favorite piece of clothing ever, the maxi dress, and share my favorite Spring accessories from my friends at Nordstrom.  If you have followed me for any length of time then you know that the maxi dress is my absolute go to when I am looking for easy dressing options.  I love that I can throw it on, add a couple of pretty accessories and it looks like I really tried….but I didn’t!  I basically get to run around in glorified pajama’s all day long and look like I am stylish and have it all together. #iftheyonlyknew If that is not a win ladies, I really don’t know what is.  My other favorite reason for loving a good maxi is that it is absolutely timeless.  You can literally dust it off every year, add some new accessories to it and you are good to go.

I am going to show you some of my favorite spring accessories at Nordstrom right now, and how I used them to spruce up two of my favorite maxi dresses.  Nordstrom’s accessory selection is always so on point.  As with all things Nordstrom, I love that I can get all of my accessory shopping done in one stop and find everything that I need. Here is a little shopping tip for you. I actually prefer to order most of my accessories online from Nordstrom.  Their selection and range of price points is much wider online then it is in store….although I do always find several goodies when I am in store (their scarf and cover-up section is always the best!). In fact, all of the fun accessories I am wearing today I actually ordered online. So make sure you head to their site asap to check everything out!

MY FAVORITE MAXI’S

Here is something else you probably already know if you have followed me for any length of time, but I love a good hat.  As soon as I saw this one online I knew I had to have it.  I love that it is a little different and unexpected with the black and white pattern.  It is the perfect beach hat! Funny story, one day I was telling Steve how I wished I was the kind of person who could wear hats. He laughed at me and said then why don’t you just wear them. So I did just that and I have been a hat wearer and lover ever since then. Isn’t that just how guys are, he took something I had agonized over in my mind and made the solution so simple. Basically you guys can thank Steve for me being here today sourcing my favorite hats for Spring for you guys.

I don’t know about you, but I love a good pair of sunglasses. Something about a new pair makes me feel super glamourous.  I am loving the oversized aviator trend this year. I got these awesome Quay sunglasses for only $60 and I am loving them.  They also come in a gorgeous gold frame with rose lenses that are super pretty too.  Quay is my number 1 favorite brand for affordable and on-trend glasses.  I always, always find pairs I love from them.  If you have never checked them out, I am going to link to their page on Nordstrom so you can go see what they have.  Seriously, none of them are over $60!  I am also seriously crushing on this pair of of double framed aviators by Marc Jacobs that I saw on my sweet online friend Callie. They look so cool on and are on sale right now for $150.

BRACELETS

Who doesn’t want a little arm candy for spring? Since I design bracelets for you guys, you know that I love a good bracelet. I have found some of the cutest bracelets and I seriously want to buy them all.  #braceletbuyersannonymous I love a good bangle like the ones I am wearing in the pictures, but they also have some cuffs that I am absolutely dying over. They also have tons of really cute beaded and tasseled options that are perfect for Spring.

EARRINGS

How cute are these little earrings that I am wearing?  I love that they are big, but lightweight so that they don’t pull at my ear too much. I am loving the trend of threader earrings where there is a piece of the earring that hangs in the back as well as the front.  I have sourced everything from some of my favorite studs for a more subtle look to some serious statement making earrings.  There is definitely something there for everyone, no matter what look you prefer.
