Lido Marina Village in Newport is adorable. Cute shops, on the water and good food – Malibu Farm and Nobu
Laguna is fun to walk around
If you go to Newport – Balboa Island is fun and you can take the car ferry to the peninsula. Fun to do if you head to Lido Village.

Getty Museum – even if you literally go and walk for 45 min and turn around the ride on the tram up the mountain to overlook all of LA is so worth it!
Malibu Country Mart – right by Pepperdine, walk around, shop, eat breakfast or lunch
