Hi friends!
Today I’m talking about MARRIAGE. This is a hot, hot topic and something I’m truly passionate about. I get a lot of questions about this and I know it’s because Steve and I have been married for 18 years and together for 28. And we still like each other! The fact that we’ve been together since eighth grade–with a little breakup there in college–and I’ve loved how you’ve all been able to follow along in our lives. We have a marriage that we’re both really, really proud of and we also we work really, really hard at. In this episode, I really dive into the core of how I approach my relationship. Plus:
- How my grandparents’ love story set the path for me, you can read more about it here
- My own personal guidelines for marriage + how Oprah inspired my #1 rule
- How food is a love language + why Steve will always come first
The bottom line is you’ve got to keep feeding this union because it will continue to reward you if you keep investing into it. TRUST ME.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for tuning and in listening with open hearts! Love you. Mean it.
Xx

Agree… been married 32 years with 7 kids And always have made a date night happen. We also go on a “mini moon” (getaway for 1-2 nights) makes a major boost in marriages ! I’m always amazed how many friends don’t “date” their spouse..so so important! We have always taught and shown our kids that our relationship is top priority in our family
I just listened to your podcast. You spoke so eloquently, Landyn. It is just what I needed to hear. I have been married a long time and sort of coasting but I need to make my marriage more of a priority.
Thank you Liz! ❤️
I’ve told my son before he was married. Always stand behind your wife. If it comes down to “should I do what Mom says or my wife”. It’s always the wife, always.
Can you be my MIL. Just kidding already married, but you are a wise woman!
Haha! Sure! Xx
