Landyn’s Favorite Things 2019! We had one magical night and couldn’t have made it happen without our partners at Nashville Lifestyles Magazine and Make-A-Wish Middle Tennessee, throwing THE best holiday party of the year. My co-host Brian Barry and I love spoiling you girls, giving away goodies from my favorite brands and local businesses. It’s my most favorite night of the year.
The tickets sold out in under four minutes (what?!) and the ladies came from all over the country—from Nashville, Texas, Minnesota and California. Let me tell you—they came dressed and ready to have some fun! I couldn’t get over the how beautiful everyone looked. They really took my sequin + sparkles memo to heart! I loved it.

We found a group of girlfriends who came to the show together to go! TALK ABOUT LOSING THEIR MINDS!
Music
I’m lucky enough to call some of Nashville’s most talented women my friends. We kicked off the evening with one of my favorites, the darling Taylor Edwards.
We were introduced by my hilarious bestie—songwriter, mother of 3 and amazing wife—Stephanie Chapman. She is DAMN FUNNY. She did a bit of roasting of Brian and I and then retuned later in her show for her version of “’Twas the Night Before Christmas” with a Landyn twist. “Merry Christmas to all and to all…now go paint that s*#% white!”
Midway through the show, I had the pleasure of introducing one of my best girlfriends, Nicolle Galyon. She’s a total unicorn. Grammy award nominee, BMI Songwriter of the Year, wife, mom, and incredible friend. Her hits include “Female” by Keith Urban, “Automatic” by Miranda Lambert, and “All The Pretty Girls” for Kenny Chesney.
She treated the crowd with a performance of her songs “Tequila” (Dan + Shay), “Homecoming Queen” (Kelsea Ballerini) and more! She has launched her own female-focused label called Songs & Daughters and I couldn’t be more proud of her! Songs & Daughters also made us a curated playlist called “Jingle & Ladies” that is available to stream on Spotify here.
She was joined onstage by singer-songwriter Hailey Whitters, who performed a song written by Lori McKenna that was inspired by my insta-stories. Remember JANICE from the hotel bar in NYC a few years back? It was amazing!
Thank you, thank you to these talented, powerhouse women for sharing their gifts with us!

The Ultimate Favorite Thing
And finally—the most special part of the evening was a special surprise visit from kids who are part of the Make-A-Wish family. Beth Torres, THE President & CEO from Make-A-Wish Middle Tennessee arranged this touching moment. I had no idea! 12-year-old Kayden who suffers from CLOVES disease bravely spoke to us about the struggles he and his family face. He’s currently in an experimental treatment that requires him and his mom to travel to Cincinnati every 9 days. He is truly am inspiration and there wasn’t a dry eye in the house.
I’m thrilled to share that we’ll be making many more wishes come true!
TOGETHER we raised $110,000 for a Make-A-Wish Tennessee!
Your donations make a huge difference in the lives and recovery of these sweet children and their families. A study done at Nationwide Children’s Hospital showed that kids with a wish had fewer unplanned hospital visits. And the wish may aid in improving the quality of life for wish kids.
We can keep this going! Please consider adding to this wonderful gift of joy and hope by donating. Click here to donate!
THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts. See you next year!
TWAS THE NIGHT BEFORE LANDYN
by: Stephanie Chapman
Twas the night before Christmas
and all through the blog
not a creature was stirring
not even Jack the Dog
ugg boots were hung
by the chimney with care
in the hopes that St. Landy Clause
would soon be there
Her followers were snuggled
all safe in their beds
wearing Target Christmas jammies,
in stripes, white and red
they tossed and they turned
as they kept hearing voices
saying “omg you guys”
and “make pretty choices”
When out on the lawn
there arose such a clatter
they all shut their laptops
to see what was the matter
Then what to their wondering
eyes should appear
but a white and gold sleigh
and 8 tiny reindeer,
and a natural blonde driver,
so chic and so handy
they knew right away
that it must be St. Landy!
More rapid than eagles,
her people they came
then she whistled and shouted
and called them by name
on Vicci, on Omi ,
on Revision, and World Market
on Able, Living Proof,
E. Allen and Target
on Lily, on Luke
on Steve and Oh Mister
Anne Claire and Belinda
and that guy with the dumpster
To the top of the porch,
to the top of the wall
now dash away, dash away
dash away all
Then in a twinkling
I heard on the roof
gold bangles jingling
and sold-out black boots
Twas St. Landy of course
so real and so funny,
Intelli-shade on her face,
on her nails Funny Bunny
She was dressed in all black
from her head to her heels
and she whispered “lwl25,
swipe up for a deal”
her cheekbones were highlighted
her complexion so glow-y
not a ‘Sharon’ in sight
thanks to Karee Hayes Koji (pads)
her hair was just perfect!
yours can be too if you wanna
just a beach waves tutorial
and balayage by Oxana
with bundle of discount codes
all up in this bitch
she was almost like oprah
except not as rich
She brought candles and cutting boards,
from Homegoods and Marshalls
and from the Living With Landyn store
more packages and parcels!
there were sweaters, leggings,
sunglasses, O-rings,
help us dear Landy Claus, we need
ALL THE THINGS!
then,
with a flutter of her LASHES
and a Landy Claus shimmy
she left all the things for us
and rose up through the chimney
her reindeer whooshed
with their shiny red noses
it was back to Belle Meade,
and back into Ketosis
and we heard her exclaim
as she drove out of sight
Merry Christmas to all,
now go paint that shit white!
************************************
so if you’ve mastered
pomegranate guacamole
just look at your family and say
“Landyn made me”
wether sharing an outfit
or making a dish
making pretty choices
or Making a Wish
or gracing Nashville Lifestyles
as their prettiest Elfie
she always has time,
to stop for a selfie
and when the holiday is over,
still click with abandon
cuz it’s Christmas everyday
when you’re Living With Landyn
The End
I have only a few words…. I love you, mean it!!! ❤️
