This weekend I made my own weed killer ! We decided to go this route especially in our garden – we definitely want to avoid any chemicals that we might be ingesting. I linked the recipe + what we used below!
Natural Weed Killer Recipe
1 gallon vinegar (use 20% or 30% acetic acid- household vinegar is only 5% and is it typically strong enough)
1 cup salt
1 tablespoon dish soap (i’m using good ol’ dawn)

Mix all ingredients in a spray bottle or pump sprayer.
Tip: Treat weeds at the hottest time of day for best results. Let me just say, this isn’t a harsh chemical, so it may need to be reapplied. However from what i’ve read it works really well! I think it’ll be perfect to use around my garden boxes in the rocks given I don’t wanna spray any chemicals there.
