Oh girls, you KNOW my love for Mary Jo aka Port to Palm. She is one of the most genuine and kindest people I know – she has the BIGGEST heart. We met a few years ago when she graciously hosted our team in Charleston, and we’ve been connected ever since! She was even a part of my Favorite Things Show this past December and gave a BIG TRIP to about 12 girls to come and stay at her rental The Beas Nest. Well today, we got all snuggled in to our Target PJ’s and poured a big ole drink – because it’s happy hour any hour now during quarantine. She even surprised me with the most beautiful gift and she had me open it up on the LIVE! Do you just die. Mary Jo put together a little cocktail kit with my favorite of course (tequila, soda water + lime) and also, her sweet friend, Antea Amoroso Designed threw in this custom clutch, Starbucks cup and wine glass. She also turned me onto @theblueroot and she has THE BEST banana bread, carrot bread any bread – you name it. Hope you ladies had as much fun as we did! Mary Jo is seriously top shelf – no dust. P.S. What have you been up to during this time?
We’ve been good, one day at a time. It’s crazy but everything is going good! I’ve had a couple of emotional days too. Every day is different – some good and some bad. The days are good, they’re in homeschool right now, so the two older ones are busy on their laptops everyday and then the baby (B3) is having a blast at home. We’re safe, healthy and we have food in our fridge, and so we feel blessed. Of course become anxious when watching the news, but hey it happens.
Tell us a little bit about yourself:
Born and raised in Boston and I’m a mom of 3. Just trying to get through each day and I’ve been married to my husband for 15 years. I joined IG 4 years ago for the purpose of our rental space, The Beas Nest. I quickly realized, I made so many connections on IG and I made so many friends, just like you. I knew there wasn’t something bigger to this. I always say I don’t really know what I’m doing (I don’t have a blog) but you know it’s all good and we’re just trying to figure it out. We have two of the best dogs, Allie + Chippy – they’re seriously the BEST, both Boston Terriers.
What about the Beas Nest?
We have a rental home in Charleston that we purchased 4 years ago and it was one of the best decisions we ever made. Charleston has quickly become one of our favorite places and honestly, it feels like a second home.

L: We went from FL to Seattle and had a lot of firsts, then we went to MN and we LOVED it. We loved starting to raise our kids there. Then on to Nashville and we love it so much. I’ve never felt more at home then when we moved to Nashville. I mean a 3 way tie for sure.
